A long time ago, when ice cream sundaes didn’t cost much, a 10-year-old boy went into a restaurant and sat down.

A friendly waitress gave him a glass of water.

After drinking some water, the boy asked the waitress, “How much does an ice cream sundae cost?”

The waitress said, “50 cents.”

The boy looked at the coins in his hand and asked again, “How much is plain ice cream?”

The waitress, feeling a little impatient because some people were waiting for a table, said quickly, “35 cents.”

The boy counted his coins again and said, “I’ll have the plain ice cream.”

The waitress brought the plain ice cream, put the bill on the table, and left to serve other customers as the place was busy.

The boy finished his ice cream, paid the cashier, and left the restaurant.

When the waitress came back, she cleaned the table and was surprised to see a tip of 15 cents neatly placed next to the empty dish.

Moral of the story

One’s rich heart cannot be measured by the amount of money he has.
